Ways to Support MDIRF

“This charity is invaluable in supporting riders across all disciplines”
Scott Brash M.B.E.

There are a number of different ways that you can get involved with The Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund.

We have listed just a few ideas of ways in which you could get involved and of course, we are always on hand to help you with preparations.

Sometimes we don’t always get the opportunity to thank people for each and every donation that we receive. So, we would like to reiterate our appreciation now. Without your enthusiasm and support we simply wouldn’t be able to offer our support to those in need. “THANK YOU!”

Attend an Event

We like to have fun whilst we raise money as you’ll know if you’ve been to any of our fundraisers. We have held a Mirror Ball in a 1920’s mirrored circus tent, a wonderful day in a private box at Hickstead and a sumptuous dinner in an exclusive members club in London. We’ve had celebrity question and answer evenings in spectacular venues as well as the chance to get up close and personal with some of our wonderful guests such as Claire Balding. Sign up to our mailing list to be the first to know about future events.

Organise an Event

Sometimes our lovely supporters organise events to raise money for us.  We have had a Polo Day and a 5 day Endurance fixture, numerous Winter/Summer Charity Balls and unusual outdoor events organised to raise funds for us whilst having fun at the same time.

If you’d like to do something special however big or small please do get in touch and we will do all we can to help you make it a success.

Collect sponsorship to do something special

If you’ve wanted to climb Ben Nevis or do a parachute jump for charity then we’d love to be your chosen charity. We will also publicise and let others know about it on our Social Media and website. There’s no limit on what you can achieve if you really try so go for it!

Create a Birthday Fundraiser on Facebook

It’s easy to create a fundraising event for anything on our Facebook page. Just go to our Facebook page select fundraisers and click on the ” create a fundraiser” link. For Example, you can create a fundraiser for your birthday and ask friends to donate instead of presents.

Donate an Auction Prize

We regularly organise silent and full auctions at our events for a range of different value prizes. The most popular items are ‘money-can’t-buy’ experiences like Days Out or Lessons

You can donate an item for auction either at one of our events or contact us if you wish to discuss an item to donate.
