“This charity is invaluable

in supporting riders

across all disciplines”

Scott Brash M.B.E.

There are a number of different ways that you can get involved with The Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund and help us to help injured riders.

We have a fundraising calendar of events you may wish to support, either by attending, donating a prize or your time.

We have listed just a few ideas of ways in which you could get involved and of course, we are always on hand to help you with preparations.

Sometimes we don’t always get the opportunity to thank people for each and every donation that we receive. So, we would like to reiterate our appreciation now. Without your enthusiasm and support we simply wouldn’t be able to offer our support to those in need. “THANK YOU!”

Ways in which you could support MDIRF

Are you planning on making a parachute jump or cycling to France perhaps? Maybe you have a special birthday or anniversary coming up. Whatever the activity or occasion, why not turn them into a fundraising opportunity in aid of MDIRF? We can provide you with support and ideas to ensure your fundraising event is a success.

We like to have fun whilst we raise money as you’ll know if you’ve been to any of our fundraisers. Recent events have included the Mirror Ball in a 1920’s mirrored circus tent, a wonderful day in a private box at Hickstead and a sumptuous dinner in an exclusive members club in London.

Sometimes our lovely supporters put on events to raise money for us. Just this year we have had a Polo Day and a 5 day Endurance fixture kindly organised to support us. We’ve also benefitted from parachute jumps, long distance bicycle rides, and even birthday parties in our honour!

If you’d like to do something special however big or small please do get in touch and we will do all we can to help you make it a success.

We always have a number of different value sponsorships available to companies and private individuals who would like to promote themselves whilst supporting us, so get in touch with Charlotte to discuss your options.

There are many support services and sources of help that are available to injured riders and horse lovers, from physiotherapy and neurological care to rehabilitation and the provision of wheelchairs and mobility support. If you are able to provide any support service, please contact us.

We regularly organise silent and full auctions at our events for a range of different value prizes. The most popular items are ‘money-can’t-buy’ experiences like Days Out or Lessons

You can donate an item for auction either at one of our events or contact us if you wish to discuss an item to donate.

You can donate directly to our fund online or by post or phone. See more about how to donate on our donation page

As a fundraiser you can set up your own webpage with Justgiving enabling your supporters to sponsor you online from anywhere across the globe. This is extremely simple to set up and also saves you having to collect up sponsorship money which can be time consuming See their website www.justgiving.com and enter “The Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund” to get started.

Helping out as a volunteer at one of our events can really make a difference.
Fundraising events always require extra pairs of hands on the day and can be fun to be part of. You may be required to help with a raffle or silent auction, taking bids or handing out prizes.

Contact Us now to add your name to our volunteer list.

You can now support us every time you shop online by signing up for Give as you Live, for absolutely no cost. Watch the video below to find out how this works, and sign up to start supporting us when you shop by visiting the Give as you Live website
