Many will not realise the enormous help I received from The Mark Davis Injured Riders Fund after my accident…. this is truly a worthwhile cause and is unique in its support for riders across all disciplines. Believe me, raising funds is a monumentous task but anything you can donate gives a rider a lifeline…. who would have thought when I was in hospital for over 2 months and unlikely to ride again that 14 years later I would be competing at the London 2012 Paralympics and now aiming to qualify for Rio!
